Found this giant ladybug trying to escape near the patio door. Sophia created this little critter from materials we had in our craft bin.
We grabbed a couple paper plates and she painted them. When the red paint was dry she used a black marker to make the face and add polka dots like ladybugs have on their wings. Mommy had to help by cutting the pipe cleaners but she put them between the paper plates and finally glued on the eyes. She gave it to her father when he got home tonight. I am not a fan of bugs, but this little critter is growing on me.
