Thank Heavens for Little Girls tap dance ( part 2)

I was looking through the pictures taken at the show and discovered that no photos were taken during Sophia's tap dance number. It turns out my husband didn't get any photos of that number but recorded it with the video recorder. I was back in the back trying to keep the baby screaming for her nap quiet so as not to disrupt the crowd so I couldn't take photos either. Bummed by that but that is how it goes.

So, Scott captured the "curtain call" with Sophia in her tap costume. She is just a bit to the right of center in the photo above.

I love these tap dance costumes. The girls all came out to bow. Sophia is taking a bow here.

And she looks out into the crowds and smiles.

She spotted grandma in the crowd.

Take another bow.

Smile....

Take another bow....

Smile.....

Take another bow.....

And another

Smile.....

Take another bow.....,

And another.......

Take another bow....,,

And smile....,,,

And smile....

And smile......

Take another bow....,

and take another bow for good measure.

This was the funniest thing ever. Sophia kept taking bows over and over. It was so funny, my cheeks hurt from laughing. She was responding to the crowd's clapping and laughing. It was one of my favorite moments ever!

Dance recital concert (part 1)

This year was Sophia's first year of dance. She did wonderful at her recital. The theme was "Life's a Musical".

Here comes the "Easter Parade" which was the ballet dance number for the three and four year olds.

Some of the girls just stood there like a deer in the headlights.

Sophia caught on after a few seconds that she should dance to the music.

My Easter bonnet...,

This was so cute until they all ran into each other. It was adorable.

My little beauty just a smiling from ear to ear loving every minute.

Something went a little awry and Sophia ended up behind her classmates so she just walked around the other girls and jumped back in line in the end.

Sophia my dear, mommy and daddy are so proud of you. We love you little darling.

Bike riding trick

Well, looks like Kaylee might need a little coaching in how to ride a Big Wheel. She kinda has the idea. Notice the green sticker star on her nose and her hand.
