October 15, 2008 Sophia is Standing

OMG!  Sophia is standing without help for about a minute at a time.  She was helping me sort and fold laundry. She stood up by holding onto the basket.  Then, she grabbed a pair of her socks. She let go of the basket and stood there holding the socks.   I was so proud of her. I couldn't believe it. She stood there about a minute.  Of course, I couldn't get a picture because by the time I grabbed the camera she had sat down on the floor.  

It won't be long now and she will be walking without holding onto everything. She is very steady holding onto stuff as she moves about the floor.
