Sophia makes dinner

Sophia spread the sauce on the crust. Oops, I got some on my hand.

Looking good.

Spread it all around.

Add the cheese.

Place the pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, black olives and some Italian seasonings. Sweet basil, and crushed red pepper.

Eat. Mmmm!

Playing with the little toy

Kaylee loves these little FurReal pets probably because her sister is scared of them and won't rake them away. She laughs and smiles when they come to her.

Casserole carrier

I made these cute casserole carriers for my family. Christmas finally happened so now I can post some of the things I have been sewing. These carriers have Insul-Brite inside them to make them heat safe and insulated for carrying hot or cold dishes to any party or family gathering. They can also be used as a hot pad to place your hot baked dishes on the table without scorching your table finish because of the Insul-Brite.

Here is the inside view

This is the finished carrier. These were a lot of fun to make

The red one. This is the inside.

Oh gee, I forgot to take photos of the finished carrier and matching oven mitt. I will have to take pictures of them when I visit my grandmother.

My wooden toy soldier in the Nutcracker Ballet

Sophia's dance class learned the dance from the Nutcracker Ballet in the month of December. The performance night was December 15. We watched our precious little Sophia perform the wooden soldiers march.

The no fat Gingerbread house

Sophia wanted to make a Gingerbread house.

She is Constructing the walls and roof

Here she is adding the roof.

Snap the puzzle pieces of foam together

Careful, don't break the other side.

Place the windows and doors on the house.

Start adding the details with kaylee watching how it is done.

Affix the candy gum drops.

Hold the icing details in place.

Kaylee laughing at how cute the little house is.

Add all the candy circles around the house.

And there you have it a no fat gingerbread house made by Sophia with Kaylee supervising in the background.

Ornament making

I love these little kits that they sell at Target. I can tear the package open and hand all the pieces to Sophia and let her create by herself while I do something else. She loves crafts and activities and usually smiles but here she is just tired.

Sophia made some penguin ornaments which are super cute. She was so excited when I told her she could hang them on the tree all by herself after I attached the ribbons.
