This picture was right before we went around the other side of the hill and Sophia fell down the huge hill head over heels. I still don't know how I scaled the hill without falling myself and caught her at the bottom right before she hit the ground. I felt like SuperMom because I saved her from hurting herself but it was scary.   That was one steep hill.

Sophia wanted to wear this outfit for our professional photos this evening. Scott bought her the baseball hat and the baseball jersey for Sophia.  She loves them.

May 19, 2009 Water Splash Kids Area at Botanical Gardens

Sophia watched the other kids in the water play area and learned that she could climb up on this and make it splash. 

Here she is trying to bounce on it to make it splash, however, I don't think she was heavy enough to make it work. 

Found a sprinkler spout and played in the water.

This is fun getting soaked right down to her leather shoes.

Sophia is eating her way through the gardens. The tater tots from Sonic are in every photo because I couldn't convince her without a huge temper tantrum to put them down.

Sophia wanted to smell each and every flower where the large peonies grow on the way to the Japanese Gardens.  She sniffed every one.

May 12, 2009 Mother's Day - the After Party

"Nana Nana!" is Sophia way of saying banana.

Playing with her hat and showing Great Grandma how to wear her hat.

After a delicious brunch at the Viking, we went to my Grandmother's house to visit and let Sophia play. Here is Sophia's Great Grandma playing hats with Sophia.
