Sophia picking more veggies
We planted a few vegetables this spring and are starting to see some vegetables. Sophia is picking cucumbers from our mini-garden on the deck in large flower pots. Sophia has been helping me water the plants everyday so that we would have good vegetables this summer. Today we found a cucumber ready for our salad. It just fell off the plant into my hand as Sophia watched me looking at the plant. It was sweet and crunchy. Sophia loved it.
Tomato picking
Sophia picked a sweet cherry tomato for dinner off of our plant. We had to make a container mini-garden since we live on the golf course and can't really dig up the yard. I know this will produce a lot less vegetables than if they were in the ground but it is better than none.
