Birthday Barbie

Sophia has been asking day and night for a Barbie princess so because she is doing well on potty training, i let her pick out a barbie. She knows she only gets it when she is being a big girl and using he potty, otherwise Barbie is put away and we can't play with her. Only "big girls who use the potty can play with Barbie".

Also, if she doesn't put her away in her case, the dog will eat her and Barbie will be no more. So far, the bribe is working.

This was Sophia's birthday gift from her dad and me. She obviously loves it. She played with this Mickey Mouse clubhouse for almost an hour last night when we took it out of the box. She doesn't usually spend this much time with any one toy, but for some reason Mickey Mouse holds her interest.

In this video, Sophia says the magic word "Meeska, Mouska, Mickey Mouse to make the Mouskadoer work. At the end of the video, she gets sad because she discovers that Mickey does not have his friend Minnie Mouse. Guess, we will have to find a Minnie Mouse pretty quick. I don't want her to cry everytime she notices Minnie is not there.

We went to the Birthday Party that Wenztville School District Parents as Teachers has each year for the kids. When we got home, Sophia was so excited about her birthday crown hat she made, that she played dress-ups with it until she went to bed. Here are some photos above.
